First World War centenary work at the Imperial War Museum

06/15/2013

I’m currently working on three separate projects at the Imperial War Museum, all connected with the centenary of the First World War. One project is to act as text consultant for the gallery text in the new First World War galleries, which will open next year; the others involve acting on behalf of the Museum to provide research and co-ordination for two big collaborative projects the IWM is working on with major broadcasters.

I’ll be posting the occasional First World War items that I’ve come across in the Museum’s collections on the blog, starting with a very jaunty lady window cleaner from 1918.
